Last Meal is the tale of a diner serving last rights chow.  You might order the Dahmer or Gacy, depending on your mood for breakfast or lunch.  Perhaps you only want coffee, black: Aileen Wournos.  Maybe you crave dessert: Timothy McVeigh had ice cream.

Noah and Claire are tourists, come to see the infamous locale where legend spins the owner/chef escaped death row.  Enamored with fantasy, the couple fails to notice a man ordering off-menu: two steaks, rare, and a bowl of Fruit O’s.  The son of the owner’s victim has arrived for vengeance.  As fantasy becomes reality, Noah and Claire will learn revenge is a dish best served rare, federal prisoners have a $20 limit, and killers never… ever… eat salad.

Last Meal is a short film that originated with a Special Project Grant from the Peter Stark Producing Program, at the School of Cinematic Arts, University of Southern California.

Directed by Mark Stern, Produced by Jake Avnet, and written by Tracy Park, and Micah Fitzerman-Blue, the film was completed in September 2008.
